Computer lab opened at Satavahana University

KARIMNAGAR: Satavahana University officially opened a new computer lab at its Arts College in Karimnagar on Wednesday, inaugurated by vice-chancellor Prof. K. Umesh Kumar. It will have 15 computers and a dedicated lab aimed at equipping students in Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities with essential digital skills.

In his address, Prof. Kumar highlighted the university’s advancements across various sectors and the importance of integrating technology into education. Registrar Prof. Ravi Kumar emphasised that computers are vital for transforming education, particularly for students in social sciences. OSD Dr Harikanth stressed the indispensability of computer literacy in today’s modern era.

College principal Prof. Surepalli Sujatha thanked the VC for the timely provision of resources.
